Voice and Guitar
Audrey Clark brings 30+ yrs of performing and teaching to MSOM, and is deeply commited to working with her voice and guitar students to develop their own personal sound and style.
Audrey is known locally and nationally for her years as vocalist, guitarist, and songwriter of The 360s (WB/RCA), a group that has been featured on MTV and toured Europe and the U.S. Her songs have been featured in commercials for Gillette and Axe, and covered by Jeff Buckley, Widespread Panic, Incubus, and Inger Lorre. She currently has a publishing contract with Warner/Chappell Music and is actively recording and writing.
Audrey is a certified McCloskey Voice Technician. For several years she studied under the former head of the New England Consevatory, Maestro David McCloskey, and she continues to use his techniques of breathing, relaxation, and vocal exercises to promote strength and tone in each student. This is combined with voice therapy for overused, untrained voices for both speakers and singers.
Audrey’s forte is Rock and Roll music, past and present. She draws her inspiration from the genre’s history, whether it’s The Beatles, The Who, The Rolling Stones, or even the present day alternative independent songwriter.
She encourages her students to be songwriters, and to express themselves with their music through performance and recording techniques.
